Rick joined the warrior program in January 2016.
Rick's wife had a stroke and he wanted to lose weight and be healthy for himself and her as well.
Rick lost 40 lbs and his cholesterol medicine was reduced!
Rick feels that this program is like one big family, he feels at home here at Pine Grove.
The nick name "sassy pants" was given to Rick from coach Pam as a joke for his sense of humor.
"Nobody judges here, there is a sense of community."
Rick feels that he is able to make the workout his own. He explained that when he first started the program he was questioning if he'd be able to accomplish everything.
Rick encourages his fellow tribe members and future tribe members to "stick with it!" He promises eventually you'll be able to do it.
"I never thought exercise would be part of my vocabulary. My family knows about the program and they accommodate, we plan things around my class schedule."
Since joining the program Rick says he enjoys a nice big salad with protein.
Snacking in between meals and dessert used to be an issue, but he has overcome that.
"Whole 30 taught me how to eat."
The coaches and all of us at Pine Grove are so proud of Rick for all he has accomplished in the reset program!
Congratulations on your accomplishments, Rick!
